LiDAR 7.5 DEM

High-Resolution Elevation Data For Alberta

The LiDAR 7.5 DEM is a high-accuracy digital elevation model (DEM) created using LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology, which uses a point cloud collected from a 1m LiDAR product. The quality and accuracy, both vertically and horizontally, of each individual location are comparable to the 1m LiDAR product but with more spacing between them.

DEM collected with LiDAR technology offers a very high vertical accuracy, which enhances the quality of relief, hydrological features, sub-catchment boundaries (basins and watersheds), and drainage networks. Altalis LiDAR 7.5 DEM offers a cost-effective, high-quality elevation data solution for large-scale projects. This product perfectly balances resolution, accuracy, and affordability, making it ideal for various applications.
