Account and Ordering

What is an AOI?

It is your Area of Interest, which is the polygon you have selected for your project.

How do I select a full provincial Base Feature Layer?

Under 'Select' on the top navigation bar, click on 'entire product'.  Your selection will turn yellow and you can add to the cart.

How long does it take to receive my order?

You will receive a download link for your order via email, usually within 5-10 minutes of your submission.

Signed Up for an Altalis Account but have not received the verification code

It has likely gone to your junk folder or has been blocked by your company security.  Check both and contact Altalis Support if not resolved.

Received the error "Could not check out. Please try again later"?

Try clearing your cache and reloading the ordering page. If the issue persists, submit a trouble ticket.

Is there a cost to create an Altalis Account?

No, there is no cost to create an Altalis Personal or Corporate Account. 

What is the benefit of a Corporate Account?

If you are ordering data on behalf of your company, it is best to use a Corporate Account so the transactions is recorded in the Order History of the company.

I have selected a layer but the 'add to cart' button is greyed out.

You are likely not signed in to your Altalis account. You do not need an account to preview, but you need an account to download Altalis products.

How do I find the vintage of LiDAR15 and LiDAR 7.5 DEM tiles?

Use 'Inspect Tile' on the top navigation bar.  Click on the tile and it will show the year(s) the LiDAR was flown.

Were LiDAR15 and LiDAR 7.5 DEM created from full earth or bare earth point cloud data?

Bare Earth.  LiDAR15 is 15 metre post spacing and LiDAR 7.5 is 7.5 post spacing.

What is the point cloud accuracy of LiDAR15 and LiDAR 7.5 DEM?

30cm vertical (Z) & 50cm horizontal (X/Y)

Is the Cadastral maintained in NAD83 (Original) or NAD83 (CSRS)

NAD 83 original 10TM projection, utilizing the Transverse Mercator (TM) projection method.

Is there an identifier on the front of title that indicates there is in fact an easement on that parcel/title?

No, you need to pull the complete title or do a search on SPIN.  These fall under the encumbrances, liens and interests on the title.
